APPLETISER CROWNS ON: MOBILE GAME
TBWA commissioned me to develop a mobile browser game for their Appletiser "Crowns On" campaign. Together with development company Injozi, we created a multiplayer quiz game where players have to test their entertainment knowledge to win Showmax subscriptions.
Players first choose from a selection of Showmax related categories.
Without looking at the clue. The first player holds the phone horizontally above their head while their friends give them clues to the answer on the phone.
If the player answers correctly, flipping the phone down brings up the next clue. After 10 seconds the time-out advances the game to the next question. At the end of the round, scores are tallied up.
Sharing the game on social media gained players additional competition entries.
